Library News - Abridged
We currently have trial access to the Philosopher's Index Full-Text through August 6, 2018.
This premier bibliographic database is designed to help researchers easily find publications of interest in the field of philosophy. It contains over 650,000 records from publications that date back to 1902 and originate from 139 countries in 37 languages and covers all subject areas of philosophy and related disciplines. The Index features high-quality content with complete and accurate citations, and author-written abstracts for most articles. Many of these abstracts cannot be found in other reference resources; they are unique to The Index. Enjoy the Trial and please let is know what you thought about the Philosopher's Index.
Explore Trial Access to PrepSTEP *extended* through January 31! This database is packed with powerful skill-building resources in English, math, and science. Students can also build workplace skills, explore careers, prepare for graduate school and occupational exams, build basic computer skills, and more. Test prep includes PRAXIS, GRE, LSAT, & MCAT. Email Pam or Susan for user name and password to this powerful tool.
The Hastings Oral History Initiative (HOHI) is a free online archive that provides an accessible public space for the Hastings community to deposit any oral history interviews so that others may engage in and make connections to our local, national, and global communities through shared and collaborative history.
