Killer Snacks

Due to health measures, our snacks may not be as killer as last year. But we'll have something to help fuel your studies. It'll just have to be a surprise.

General Academic Support

General Academic Support

Stop into Studio 200 to have our staff look over an essay with an editor’s eye, practice a presentation and get feedback before you stand up in class or talk through a new assignment to ensure you are on the right track.

Academic counseling at Hastings College comes in many forms. Your advisor, especially during your first year, is an excellent resource. Your advisor is there to offer support and encouragement — plus help you map out classes to take and areas to explore. Our Career Services office and your advisor also offer career mapping and other resources if you are uncertain of your major or focus.

At the same time, we work hard to ensure all students receive the assistance they need to succeed. Studio 200 is Hastings College’s relationship-based academic support center open to all students!

The studio provides a wide range of tutoring, writing support, one-on-one feedback, a place for students to meet for group projects and other learning services. It is also the hub for accessibility and accommodations services.

Studio 200 is located in Hazelrigg Student Union  (map) and is open when class is in session during the fall and spring semesters:

Monday-Friday — 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

During the summer, Studio 200 is open by appointment only.

To reach out to Studio 200, contact its director, Emily Dunbar, at 402.461.7340 or edunbar@hastings.edu.
