In celebration of the outstanding student work throughout the year, the Hastings College Department of Music and Theatre recognized several students this week. The 134th Hastings College Commencement is this Saturday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony is being streamed simultaneously on the College’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Hastings College students who have been impacted by COVID-19 now have immediate access to grants of up to $3,000 cash totaling more than $525,000. Additional funds for students are also being provided by the College’s BroncosTogether Fund, a fundraising effort organized by the Hastings College Foundation. Hastings College announced three Bronco Award Recipients during its live-streamed Honors Convocation on May 3. Hannah Adams of Cairo, Nebraska; Greer Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Kaelan Dea of Greenwood, Nebraska, were all recognized as 2020 Bronco Award Recipients. Established in 1924, the Bronco Award is the College’s highest non-academic award granted to students.
