After 11 years of building Lincoln Southwest High School’s Cross Country and Track and Field programs from scratch, Ryan Mahoney is taking his skills to the next level. Lane Schroer, a student at Lawrence-Nelson (Neb.) High School, earned a $6,000 scholarship to Hastings College for his individual documentary on the Federal Reserve System. He received the award on March 13 when the College hosted a regional History Day competition.  Schroer and others used various media, including displays, videos, written papers and plays, to
