Hastings College has announced the Dean’s List for its Spring 2025 semester. For the semester, 339 students from 19 states and eight countries were named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 to 4.0 scale and be registered for full-time coursework.

Hastings College held its 139th Commencement on Saturday, May 17, 2025. During the ceremony, the College awarded degrees to 192 undergraduates and 10 Master of Arts in Teaching graduates. Hastings College music education major and saxophonist Erick Rodriguez of Grand Island, Nebraska, won the 2025 John Shildneck Young Artist Competition held by the Lincoln (Nebraska) Municipal Band. Eboni Nash ‘19 and Gary Freeman ‘93 have been named Outstanding Young Alumni of the Year and Outstanding Alumni of the Year, respectively, by the Hastings College Foundation. Nash graduated with majors in psychology, religion and sociology. After graduating, she went on to attend Harvard Divinity School where she received her master’s in Theological Studies.
