Welcome Home Schedule
Welcome Home is programming for students to enjoy when they move to campus! There will also be important meetings and events that are required of First Year students.
Welcome Home begins Saturday, August 15, with the first day of classes being Wednesday, August 19. Orientation for new students begins August 16.
The full schedule will be shared in the summer of 2026.

Move In Information
All New Students: Saturday, August 15, 2026
Whether you are starting college or a transfer student new to Hastings, you move this day! You have from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to move in. That’s followed by three days of orientation so all that is wrapped up before classes begin.
Returning Students: Saturday, August 15, 2026
All returning students are welcome to move in the same day as new students — from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at your building. This includes Forensics, Marching Bronco Band and Scott Scholars, who do not have an earlier move in this year.
Early Move-In Dates:
All early move ins dates will be added below when they are finalized. Each group will move in by appointment only during your time slot — just go to your building. Your coach or activity director will share more information this summer.
