Veronica Pinkerton wanted a school that would challenge her academically, but also one where she could still participate in athletics. At Hastings College, Pinkerton found she could do both.
Supportive professors and coaches make being a student athlete possible, Pinkerton said. While competing at Hastings College, the art and marketing double major earned many GPAC Athlete of the Week nods in cross country and track and field. She has also earned All American honors and placed 3rd at the 2024 NAIA Nationals in the 800 — and was named the 2024 Bronco Female Athlete of the Year just before graduation.
