Community members of all ages are invited to join Hastings College students, staff and faculty in a Walk for Peace and Justice scheduled in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day. On Monday, January 18, at 10:40 a.m., the walkers will depart French Memorial Chapel (800 N. Turner Ave.)
“We will then proceed to walk through Hastings stopping along the way to pray for peace, justice and the well-being of all in the city and the world,” said Damen Heitmann, Chaplain to the College.
At 3:40 p.m. on January 18, the College will also host a worship and reflection service in French Memorial Chapel.
Both events are free and open to the public.
