Walk for a Purpose: AIDS Walk to benefit Nebraska AIDS Project

Among the key principles of the Hastings College Peer HIV Education Organization (PHIVE-O) is to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.

On Sunday, September 28, 2014, the organization’s members invite the broader community to join them by participating in the AIDS Walk to benefit the Nebraska AIDS Project. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. in Morrison-Reeves Science Center (717 N. Ash) with the walk start scheduled for 1 p.m.

The event is open to the public. PHIVE-O will collect freewill donations to benefit NAP’s programs including testing and issue advocacy. With a donation of $5 or more, participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes including a $50 gift certificate to Imperial Jewelry and a $20 gift card for Reclamation.

Preregister online for the event and get updated information on Facebook.
