Cult B-movie, TV star Bruce Campbell to speak at Hastings College

You’ve seen Bruce Campbell as “Sam Axe” on USA’s “Burn Notice”. You’ve heard his voice on “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”. Perhaps you’ve even seen him as “Ash” in “Evil Dead” and “The Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn”.

Now see him live in Hastings, Nebraska.

On Saturday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. in French Memorial Chapel (800 N. Turner Ave.), Bruce Campbell will speak, thanks to HC’s Artist Lecture Series National Speakers Committee. In keeping with the Artist Lecture Series theme for the 2012-2013 academic year, Campbell will speak about fear. The address is free and open to the public.

Biography for Bruce Campbell
Bruce Campbell has built a career as a B-movie and television actor. Perhaps best known for his work in “Evil Dead” series and on “Burn Notice”, his work also includes playing Elvis Presley in “Bubbo Ho-Tep”, voicing characters in various cartoons and video games and writing two books:  “Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way” and “If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor”.
