Journalism students earn national Society of Collegiate Journalists awards

Lauren Sawyer, a junior from Gretna, Neb., and Allen Hamil, a sophomore from Hinton, Iowa, earned national honors from the Society of Collegiate Journalists (SCJ). Both contribute to Hastings College’s student-run media outlets including HCMediaOnline.org, KFKX radio and Bronco News Now (BNN) broadcasts.
