Hastings College Theatre concludes season with ‘The Life and Times of Tulsa Lovechild’

The Hastings College Department of Theatre wraps up its 2017-18 season with Greg Owens’ “The Life and Times of Tulsa Lovechild: A Road Trip.”

tulsa logo smallThe production runs April 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 29 at 2:00 p.m. All performances take place in Scott Studio Theatre (806 N. Turner Ave.). General admission tickets are $8, and admission for seniors and non-Hastings College students is $5. To reserve tickets, email the box office at tickets@hastings.edu.

Just like life, this offbeat romantic comedy is full of random weirdness and surprising beauty. The production follows the adventures of the eponymous Tulsa Lovechild as she journeys across the country in a rental car to dump her hippie mother’s ashes in the parking lot of the motel where Tulsa was born.  

This play contains mature language and subject matter.
