February 3rd recital at Hastings College to feature Semerad, Murman

Two Hastings College students will grace the stage at Perkins Auditorium of Fuhr Hall of Music (723 E. 9th St.) on Sunday, February 3 at 3 p.m.  Their recital is free and open to the public.  

Kristen Semerad, a senior from Rogers, Neb., will perform works by Bach, Vine and Prokoflev.  Ms. Semerad is a graduate of Schuyler (Neb.) Central High School and the daughter of Leroy and Virginia Semerad. She is pursuing a K-12 music education degree and a piano pedagogy degree.

Jeremy Murman, a senior from Glenvil, Neb., will perform compositions by Kabalevsky, Scarlatti, Brahms and Albeniz. Mr. Murman graduated from St. Cecilia High School.  He is the son of Craig and Deb Murman. He is pursuing a K-12 music education degree.
