At home tournaments, HC Bronco Forensics team qualifies six more events for nationals

The Hastings College Bronco Forensics team now has 27 events qualified for the American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET) to be held in Hutchinson, Kans., this April. 
Six competitors earned bids during the Spring Fling Swing tournaments hosted at Hastings College on February 23-24: Nikko Zurawski, a sophomore from Bennet, Colo., in Extemporaneous Speaking; Mike Dvorak, a senior from Oklahoma City, Okla., in Communication Analysis; Hannah Davis, a senior from Grand Island, Neb., in Poetry; Miranda Klugesherz, a sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colo., in Prose; Sierra Walker, a sophomore from Gering, Neb., in Extemporaneous Speaking; and Tommy Hendrix, a freshman from Omaha, Neb., in Program of Oral Interpretation.
