A comic play’s the thing: Hastings College Theatre Department to produce “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Enjoy a magical evening with the Hastings College Theatre Department as it kicks off the year with a production of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Get your tickets today for performances at 8 p.m. on October 2-5 and at 2 p.m. on October 6all at the Scott Studio Theatre (806 N. Turner Ave.)

The box office opens Thursday, September 26 and will remain open Monday-Friday from noon to 5 p.m. until Friday, October 4. General tickets are $8.00 while seniors and non-Hastings College students can get them for $5. Tickets are free to Hastings College students, faculty and staff and to Crimson Connection members. A light-hearted, accessible comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” follows four couples through a raucous evening as fairies turn a forest upside down. Meanwhile, well-meaning actors are producing a play in the same forest. Chaos ensues.
