Kim West Dinsdale

Kim West Dinsdale is a community volunteer who has impacted numerous lives throughout her career. She previously worked in marketing for World Championship Tennis and Falls Distributing in Texas. Dinsdale has served on several boards and been honored numerous times for her philanthropy and service, including honors as Grand Island Woman of the Year, a YWCA Woman of Distinction and 2005 Philanthropist of the Year by the Nebraska Association of Fundraising Professionals.She received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology with minors in sociology and women’s studies from Southern Methodist University.

Dinsdale serves on the Hastings College Board of Trustees and chairs the Hastings College Foundation Board of Trustees. She received the 2018 Thomas C. Woods III Partner in the Arts Governor’s Award from the Nebraska Arts Council for her role in establishing the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center, which was dedicated in 2016 in honor of the late Jackson Dinsdale, son of Kim and her husband, Tom. She also received the Hastings College President’s Award for outstanding and meritorious service.

The Dinsdales reside in Grand Island. In her spare time, she enjoys art and her dogs.
