Kim Dinsdale

Kim Dinsdale, a civic leader from Grand Island, Neb., earned her bachelor’s degree at Southern Methodist University and worked in marketing and public relations for firms in Dallas and in Wichita Falls, Tex. Ms. Dinsdale serves on the Nebraska Education Telecommunications Commission and the boards of several organizations including the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer, Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Mid America Arts Alliance, Grand Island Community Foundation, Grand Island Education Foundation, and Make-A-Wish of Nebraska. Honored many times for her philanthropy and service, Ms. Dinsdale was named Grand Island Woman of the Year, YWCA Woman of Distinction, and 2005 Philanthropist of the Year by the Nebraska Association of Fundraising Professionals. Kim is also a trustee of the West Foundation in Wichita Falls, Tex.

She joined the Hastings College Board of Trustees in 2010 and was elected chair of the Hastings College Foundation Board of Directors in 2016.
