Jesse Berlin received a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in Sculpture from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Since then, he has been an active participant in the Tucson Downtown Warehouse Arts District. In that capacity, he has managed studios and taught sculpture and ceramics courses at Romero House Ceramics, The Sculpture Resource Center, and Pima Community College. He has curated several local group exhibitions, exhibited across the country, won several awards and has had his work featured on the hit Netflix series “The Sandman.” The primary focus of Jesse’s work is the sculpted figure as a vehicle for exploring the universal human condition.
