Dr. Byron Jensen, a distinguished professor of music, retired from full time teaching at Hastings College in May 2022. He continues to assist the Department of Music as needed.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado and his master’s and doctorate from Kansas State University. Dr. Jensen has conducted musicians from kindergarten to professional level, and serves as the conductor of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra.
