Transfer Student Aid
If you are transferring to Hastings College, we offer numerous scholarships just for you!
And to keep it simple, your admissions application also serves as your scholarship application.
Academic Scholarships for Transfer Students
These scholarships are for incoming students transferring from four- or two-year schools who have not received an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree. These academic merit scholarships do not need to be repaid and are renewable if you remain in good standing.
Transferred GPA Hewett Academic Award
3.5-4.0 $14,000 per year
3.0-3.49 $13,000 per year
2.5-2.99 $10,000 per year
Have your AA or AS?
Community college graduates may instead qualify for our Bachelor Bound Grant worth $16,300 per year.
And if you’re a Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) member, you qualify for an additional $1,500 per year scholarship.
Transfer Your Talent
Transfer students at Hastings can earn talent and special skills scholarships for art, athletics, dance/cheer, shooting sports, theatre, bowling, speech (forensics), media and music. It’s a great way to get involved, gain experience and leadership skills and do something you enjoy while helping to pay for college. Scholarships begin at $2,000.
Transfer Grants »
A financial aid award for deserving students based on certain criteria, this funding, like a scholarship, does not have to be repaid. There are several types of grants available, including needs-based, legacy and federal.
Loans »
Loans are available for many students and can be an important component of completing an education. Of course this type of aid does need to be repaid upon graduation, and the amount you are eligible to receive is based on information from your Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and takes into consideration any scholarship and grant aid you also qualify for.
