Bronco Forensics ends regular season with qualifications

In its last regular season tournament of the year held in Omaha, Neb., the Hastings College Bronco Forensics team qualified six additional events for the American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET) to be held in Hutchinson, Kans., this April. The team’s total events eligible to compete in the national tournament is 33 events. 
On the second day of competition, the Broncos finished second. The full results follow.

From March 7-9, the team will compete at the District IV tournament in Mankato, Minn. – the last opportunity for students to qualify for nationals.
*This event has now qualified for the national tournament.
 
The Hastings College forensics team has continued a long-running tradition of national competitive success, placing in the top 20 at the American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET) for most of the past ten years, including 16th at AFA 2012 in San Marcos, Texas, and 18th at AFA 2011 in Kearney, Neb.
