When dad tells his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories and gets a little fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative — a prince with a snoring problem spices up “The Princess and The Pea;” in “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” the boy cries “dinosaur” instead; and “Rumplestiltskin” actually helps turn all that pesky gold into straw!
Enjoy these creative tales and more in the Hastings College Alpha Psi Omega’s live production of “Bedtime Stories (As Told By Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up)” by Ed Monk. Alpha Psi Omega (APO) is the theatre honorary, whose members select, produce and perform a show suitable for children of all ages each year.
The show is in Scott Studio Theater on Thursday, December 2 and Friday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m, and Saturday, December 4 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. A special Crimson Connection members-only show is set for Sunday, December 5 at 1:00 p.m.
