2014 Spring Dean's List announced at Hastings College

Hastings College has announced the Dean’s List for its spring 2014 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 to 4.0, on a 4.0 scale, and be registered for full-time course work.

Students are listed alphabetically by state and hometown (students from outside the U.S. are located at the end of each list). Please be sure to check both lists, 4.0 and 3.7, for students’ names. Thank you.

Hastings College sends forth its 128th graduating class

On Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Lynn Farrell Arena, 230 undergraduates and nine Master of Arts in Teaching students graduated from Hastings College.  

The degree recipients are listed below. “HD” designates those students who graduated with high distinction in their major(s) while “D” indicates the students who graduate with distinction in their coursework.

Klugesherz ’15 finishes second at national competition

At the Interstate Oratory competition at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., Miranda Klugesherz, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., finished second in the nation. Sponsored by the Interstate Oratorical Association, the event is the oldest oratorical contest in the United States, dating back to 1872. Two contestants from each state must qualify through a state competition to participate.
