Audrey Jensen

Audrey taught elementary school for nine years at both Centura Public Schools (2007-2008)  and Grand Island Public Schools (2008-2016). While there, she was recognized with various awards for her exemplary teaching. She taught both fourth and fifth grade and multiple summer school sessions for English Language Learners.  

Audrey received her Master’s degree in Integrative Arts and the Humanities in 2008 from the University of Montana, which focused on Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligence theory. She has led seminars on differentiation, community building, and how the brain learns.

Audrey has a passion for creating relationships with each student and further developing them as an independent learner. When not working at Hastings College, you can find her competing nationally in triathlons.
