Assist the Registrar in maintaining registrations and student records in compliance with federal and state laws and college regulations and policies. Will have administrative duties including entering new courses into the catalog, creating classroom schedule in Power Campus, and helping with counter traffic as needed. Will be responsible for compiling various government and college reports and surveys. Will be responsible for various aspects of graduation including tracking all graduating seniors and working with students and faculty regarding any issues and concerns, ordering of diplomas and graduation supplies, and compiling the graduation bulletin. Will serve as Acting Registrar when Registrar is unavailable.
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with students, faculty, staff, parents, and other constituents and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is necessary. Familiarity with Freedom of Information and the Protection of Privacy Acts is an asset. Bachelor's Degree is required. Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience and/or training that includes administrative work in an academic environment, office management, or records management; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
