Dr. Kenneth N. Hipp

Dr. Kenneth N. Hipp is a North Carolina native who earned his bachelor degree from Catawba College in North Carolina and his Ph.D from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He joined the faculty at Hastings College in 2021.
He enjoys mentoring students, and appreciates Hastings College due to the emphasis on faculty to student ratio. His research interests focus on the utilization of biological molecules for the detection of environmental and biologically relevant targets. Apart from academics, he takes an interest in cooking new recipes, fishing and bad TV.
