Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting, Sports Emphasis and Minor in Studio Art from Hastings College in 2013 Master’s in Education, Sports Administration from The University of Akron in 2015

Autum joins the Hastings College community excited to reignite Hastings College Media by facilitating the classroom environment with the hands-on learning environment in the Center for Applied Media Arts as an instructor of a variety of audio/video related courses.

She joins the Center for Applied Media Arts after spending 4 years at Illinois State University as the Broadcast Producer for the Athletic Department. Her responsibilities included but were not limited to producing all ESPN+, ESPN3 and select NBC Sports Chicago linear broadcasts originating from home athletic events, coordinating all aspects of broadcasts including scripting, scheduling on-air talent and working with networks to create production schedules.

In her time as a student at Hastings College she was involved with HC Media all 4 years including coverage of 4 NAIA Women’s Basketball tournaments, Executive Producer, News Director and Talent Coordinator for HCTV and 2 years of Student Senate representation for the Apartments. She then went on to be the New Media Graduate Assistant in the University of Akron’s Athletic Department while earning her Master’s Degree.

Growing up in a Military Family, Autum is a self-proclaimed Army Brat and considers Junction City, Kansas home.
In her free time she loves to watch sports, travel – visiting friends and family near and far – and spend time with her dog, Kodak.
