History with Hastings College
Though I did not attend Hastings College as a student, my involvement stems from volunteering. Whether it is in helping plan a 5K event such as Bronco Gallup or Pink Night, teaching yoga during finals week or facilitating testing for CPR students, I have loved being a part of the Hastings College experience.
Hobbies and Interests
I love to be physically active. I enjoy running and biking—though I am not fast at either, but I do enjoy long endurance events. I have found that in the steadiness of each stride, I find comfort and rejuvenation. It’s exciting to push the body to find limits and potential.
Favorite thing about Hastings College
There is a contagious energy when you step foot on campus. It’s small enough to feel like a family, but large enough the feel like it’s your own world. Our family loves to attend sporting events. Go Broncos!
Favorite thing to do in Hastings
At the first major snowfall, I love to go sledding at Brickyard Park with my family.
Favorite place to eat in Hastings
Back Alley Bakery…you have to try their Everything Bar—completely amazing!
Wall art. I love to make any wall into my own canvas. It makes the space personal and unique.
Best meal I can cook
Breakfast. I have Sunday Brunch down to an art form. Creating made to order eggs (whether a Western omelet, scrambled or over-easy) paired with bacon and hash browns. But every now and then I’ll sneak in a country fried steak and gravy or pancakes and French toast.
