Ann Martin is the founder and president of IdeaBank Marketing in Hastings, Nebraska, a full service marketing communications company that represents a broad spectrum of clients in the healthcare, education, finance, manufacturing, retail, tourism and not-for-profit sectors.
Prior to starting her business in 1982, Ann was advertising director for the J.M. McDonald chain of department stores that was comprised of 75 stores from Nebraska to California. Ann is a former adjunct professor of advertising for Hastings College and is an active community volunteer. She currently serves on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska Foundation, Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneers and Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation. She also serves on the University of Nebraska Medical Center Board of Counselors.
Ann and her husband Philip M. Martin (’74) have two sons, Paul (’11) and James (’12).
