Funding Information Network
Perkins Library is the local access point to the Foundation Center’s Funding Information Network. This subscription service, provided by the Hastings Community Foundation, gives access to the database listed below as well as print materials on foundations and fundraising. Unfortunately, due to contractual obligations, these databases MUST be accessed from within Perkins Library.
Foundation Directory Online provides the most comprehensive and accurate information on U.S. grantmakers and their funding activities. To help you get a feel for some of those key features, we’ve put together a guided tour video to show you how easy it is to search for detailed funder profiles, recently awarded grants, company profiles, and IRS Forms 990. Foundation Grants to Individuals Online (GTIO) is the premier funding research tool for finding foundations that provide financial support for individual grantseekers. It describes giving for a variety of purposes, including scholarships, student loans, fellowships, program development, internships, professorships, arts and cultural projects, research, awards/grants by nomination only and general welfare. It is intended to be both a grantseeker’s guide and a reference tool for those interested in foundation giving to individuals.
