You'll get a Degree — Plus
At Hastings College you’ll become an expert in your major. Yet the value of a Hastings education goes beyond that. You'll graduate with a broad academic background and be mentally flexible, an excellent communicator, a creative thinker, able to manage and solve problems and answer the kinds of questions you can’t Google.
These are exactly the skills employers and graduate schools want – and it’s why so many employers have said (and said) they prefer graduates with a an education Hastings provides. Our success: 98% of recent grads are employed or continuing their education.
A Best Buy
We recognize college is an investment. It’s why we work to make Hastings affordable, something that’s been recognized by Barron’s, which named Hastings a “Best Buy in College Education”, Washington Monthly, which named us a "Bang for the Buck” school and MONEY, which said we're one of 50 the most affordable private college's in the country. Last year our students received more than $18 million in scholarships and grants and every student received some financial aid.
We're the Right Size
With about 1,200 students and an offering of more than 60 majors, Hastings College is the perfect size to give you the individual attention you appreciate and the education you need to succeed in a career and in life. Our superb faculty simply love to teach! They’re national-caliber professors who come from some of the finest graduate programs across the country. They’re smart, resourceful and since they don't need to oversee grad students, their sole focus is encouraging and supporting you.
We Bring the Action
Hastings students are involved – in athletics, band, choir, art, theatre, clubs and student government. They are volunteers in schools and churches, they deliver food to those in need, they clean parks, coach youth teams and serve as mentors.
It’s an incredible place and point of pride for the campus. It's what makes Hastings, "Hastings."
