Welcome to the Communication Studies Department

The Communication Studies major focuses on the pervasive role of communication in a changing global society. It bridges boundaries among interpersonal, group and public communication through the exploration and analysis of diverse communication skills. A degree in communication studies will provide students with skills and knowledge to prepare for careers in journalism, business, education, law, philosophy, politics, public relations and many other related fields.
