Hastings College is mourning the loss of student Remmington Reinick of Platteville, Colo. Remmington, a junior, was killed in a car accident near Gilcrest, Colo., on June 17. He was majoring in elementary education and ran sprints and relays for the Bronco Track and Field team.
Local coaching legend Steve Spongberg will join Hastings College as the next Bronco Baseball Head Coach. Spongberg has coached American Legion Baseball teams from Kearney, Neb., and Sutton, Neb., to four state championships. His appointment is effective August 1.
We're gearing up to provide a big, fun Hastings College welcome to the Class of 2017. New Student Days kicks off on Friday, August 23, and we can't wait to see you and your family on campus!
