Team Against Bias (T.A.B.)

How do you report a problem?

In order to report a hate crime or bias-motivated incident, you can do any of the following:

  1. Report to the Dean of Students Office through an email to Dean or Assistant Dean of Students
  2. Report by phone to Dean of Students executive assistant
  3. Report by email, phone or in person to a member of the Hastings College Team Against Bias.

Maintaining the confidentiality of every person who files a report is of the utmost importance to any administrative or T.A.B. member involved, and names will be used only on a "need-to-know" basis in order to resolve the problem for that particular survivor.

The incident report is initially reviewed by TAB, and a case file will be started outlining the crime/incident and necessary information. TAB will then follow up on the report by investigating the incident and making recommendations for the course of action.
