The Academy Task Force and Hastings College announce the
The Nebraska Scholars Academy, hosted by Hastings College, is a one-week summer program designed to provide high ability students challenging and enriching opportunities in mathematics, communications, or science. Staffed by highly regarded teachers and counselors from across Nebraska and from Hastings College, the residential program combines classroom learning with a variety of social and cultural events.
Students who will be in the eighth grade during the 2009-2010 school year and who have proven ability in communications or mathematics and science are eligible to apply. 140 students will be selected by the Academy Task Force. The Nebraska Scholars Academy has been held each year since 1990.
