Dr. LaChance, Associate Professor of Music, earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado where he studied with renowned pedagogue Buddy Baker.
After teaching public school music for 9 years, Mr. LaChance earned a Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Trombone Performance from the University of Illinois.
LaChance previously served as Assistant Director of Bands at Eastern New Mexico University, and currently teaches low brass, music theory, and music technology.
