Mrs. Linda Johnson
Conductor in Residence, Children's Chorale
Linda Johnson is co-founder and director of the South Central Nebraska Children's Chorale in residence at Hastings College. She teaches at Adams Central Junior-Senior High School in Hastings. Mrs. Johnson received her Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Hastings College and was awarded the MAT Service Award for outstanding contribution to the MAT program. She has served as a clinician for the Nebraska Choral Directors Association's "Sing Around Nebraska" elementary choral festivals and for the Heartland Middle Level choral clinic. She served on the state board of the Nebraska Music Educators Association, serving as Chair of Elementary & General Music Affairs. Mrs. Johnson is a member of MENC, NMEA, ACDA, NCDA, and NSEA.
