Professor and Department Chair, Dr. Koozer holds the distinction of having been named Nebraska's Outstanding Young Educator.
Before joining the faculty in 1989, Koozer was Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Northern Colorado. An active music education consultant, choral clinician, and adjudicator, Koozer earned his Bachelor's degree at Hastings College, Master's degree at Kearney State College and a D.M.A. at Arizona State University.
