Robert Unger

Robert Unger of Denver, Colo. is Chairman, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Platte River Capital LLC, an investment advising firm with offices in Denver and Portland, Ore. Previously, he served as senior portfolio manager, director, and analyst at Columbia Management for more than 22 years, as well as 13 years as an officer and portfolio manager for Alliance Capital and Oppenheimer Funds. Mr. Unger is an experienced director for both public and private corporations. A Hastings, Neb., native, he graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in investment finance and holds an MBA from the University of Denver. Mr. Unger joined the Hastings College Board of Trustees in 2007. He serves on the Investment Committee.
