Hastings College Board of Trustees 2011-2012



Lyle Fleharty

Lyle Fleharty is a self-employed investor living in Hastings, Neb. From 1991 to 1994, he directed Physical Plant Services at Hastings College and oversaw all new construction, building improvements, maintenance, and campus security. His father, Dr. Vernon Fleharty, was a longtime chemistry professor at Hastings College. The Educational Center at the Osborne Family Sports Complex is named in honor of the Fleharty family. Mr. Fleharty has given many years of volunteer service to the American Legion Baseball program in Hastings. He served on the Hastings College Board of Trustees from 1995 to 1997 and since 2000. He chairs the Buildings and Grounds Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee.
