Three HC students advance to finals at the regional convention for National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS)
While competing against 450 students in a four state region, three Hastings College students advanced to the finals of the regional National Association of Teachers of Singing convention. Tyler Koepp ‘14 finished in 3rd place among junior men, Kelli VanMeter ‘14 earned an honorable mention among senior women, and Kevin Smith ‘13 earned 1st place among senior men.
Of the six students Hastings College sent to the November 2-3 event at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, four advanced to the semi-finals, and of those four, three advanced to the finals.
