Sandeen a “Shining Star”
On November 3, 2012, the Nebraska AIDS Project gave Judy Sandeen, former Hastings College Nurse, its annual Shining Star award. NAP noted her 29 years of service to the students of Hastings College and to residents of the Hastings community. Judy has been a stalwart supporter of NAP as it continue provides services to members of the local community living with HIV and AIDS. During her tenure at HC, she started the Peer HIV Education Organiation (PHIVE-O) which has received many state and national accolades.
