Taylor ‘12 earns national championship, All-American status

With a leap of 25 feet, 10 inches, Ronnie Taylor ’12 of Mesa, Ariz., placed first in the NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track Meet last weekend. This achievement earned him All-American status.
Other Broncos placing at the NAIA meet and earning All-American status included McKayla Gowen ’13 of Grand Island, Neb., who finished fifth in the women’s shot put; Jennifer Maag ’15 of Scottsbluff, Neb., who placed third in the women’s discus throw and seventh in the women’s discus throw; Justin Roberts ’13 of Cheyenne, Wyo., who finished third in the men’s shot put; Cody Weber ‘12 of Hastings, Neb., who placed fourth in the men’s shot put and third in the men’s hammer throw; and Garrett Wickham ’12 of Phillipsburg, Kan., who finished fourth in the men’s hammer throw.
