HC musicians to perform with the national Collegiate Flute Choir
Four Hastings College flute students have been selected to perform with the Collegiate Flute Choir hosted by the National Flute Association this year. Deann Duncan, a senior from Sterling, Colo.; Margaret Gregory, a junior from Grand Island, Neb.; Sarah Wolf, a sophomore from Hastings, Neb.; and Jennifer Zarek, a freshman from Grand Island, Neb., were selected through national auditions to perform with the flute choir as part of the activities of the National Flute Association’s 40th annual convention August 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 26-member ensemble will rehearse during the convention and perform on Sunday.
Deann, Margaret, Sarah and Jennifer perform together as the Hastings College Flute Quartet.
