NAIA Baseball Coaches Association honors Hastings College Baseball Coach Jim Boeve
On Friday, Jan. 6 during the Rawlings-NAIA Hall-of-Fame and Awards Luncheon in Anaheim, Calif., the NAIA Baseball Coaches Association awarded Hastings College Baseball Coach Jim Boeve the 2012 Robert E. "Ish" Smith Achievement Award. Begun in 1999, the “Ish” Award recognizes an outstanding NAIA coach or administrator “who has demonstrated unselfish promotion of NAIA baseball.”
The NAIA previously recognized Boeve in 2010 when he was inducted into the NAIA Hall-of-Fame for meritorious service.
