The 2011 Hastings College Men’s Soccer team finished its season on Saturday as Runner-up in the NAIA National Tournament.  While posting  a 24-2 season, the team earned its 12th consecutive GPAC Championship, its 4th NAIA National Tournament “Final Four” appearance, its 7th NAIA National Tournament appearance in 11 years and the Nels Dahlquist Memorial Team Sportsmanship Award.

Individual honors earned during the NAIA National Tournament include the following:

• Offensive Player of the Tournament:  Jordan Green, a junior forward from Lincoln, Neb.
• All-Tournament Team:  Cody Poteat, a senior goalkeeper from Lincoln, Neb.; Green; Nate Polak, a senior midfielder from Lincoln, Neb.; and Derek Prinze, a senior defender from Millard, Neb.
