Hastings College is one of 153 colleges that The Princeton Review has chosen as the "Best in the Midwest" and featured in the "2012 Best Colleges: Region by Region" section of their website. The website has the profiles of 629 schools that were recommended as "regional bests" across four regions: the Northeast, the Southeast, the Midwest, and the West.
From hundreds of institutions reviewed in each region, The Princeton Review selected these colleges and universities primarily for their excellent academic programs. They also took into account what students attending the schools reported about their campus experiences. Their "regional best" colleges constitute only 25 percent of the nation’s four-year colleges.
