Hastings College faculty tenure, promotions announced
During its January 25, 2013, meeting, the Hastings College Board of Trustees approved the following on faculty tenure and promotions:
Dr. Daniel Laing, Associate Professor of Music/Director of Bands, Trumpet, Horn, Conducting, Music Education, has been granted tenure.
Dr. Bobbi Buchholz has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Mathematics.
The following faculty members have been promoted to the rank of Professor:
Dr. Daniel G. Deffenbaugh, Religion
Dr. Neil Heckman, Chair of the Chemistry Department
Dr. Douglas Kinnear, Chair of the Business and Economics Department
Rev. Dr. David B. McCarthy, Religion and Chaplain to the College
