(Hastings, Neb.) –  On Wednesday, April 25, Hastings College will cancel classes in celebration of academics.  The seemingly counterintuitive measure allows students, faculty and staff to fully participate in the 2012 Academic Showcase.

For the eighth consecutive year, students have earned the opportunity to present their independent and original research, either as individuals or in groups, in a context that approximates the structure and character of a scholarly academic conference. Presentations, which have been approved by a committee of faculty, staff and students, are limited to twenty minutes with time remaining for questions and discussion.

All of the presentations, listed below by venue, are free and open to the public.
