Hastings College Department of Theatre Arts presents light-hearted one-acts for Capstones 2012

(Hastings, Neb.) – Each spring, Hastings College’s theatre arts majors in their junior or senior year perform, direct or produce a capstone project which draws together the students’ talents and experiences.  For Capstones 2012, Joe Hamik, a senior from Hastings, Neb., will direct “For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls” by Christopher Durang while Myste Shryack, a senior from Worland, Wyo., will direct “The Diary of Adam and Eve” by Samuel Birnkrant from the book by Mark Twain.

These one-act play productions are scheduled for 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, March 8-10 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11in Scott Studio Theatre (806 N. Turner Ave.)

The Box Office opens Thursday, March 1 and will remain open Monday-Friday from noon to 5 p.m.  Tickets are $8 general and $5 for seniors and non-HC students. Call (402) 461-7380 or e-mail tickets@hastings.edu.
